Terry E. Palmer, 64 of Kilgore, died March 25, 2024, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a brief illness.
Born Feb. 1, 1960, in Canton, he was the son of the late George R. Palmer and Neala (Jones) Howell.
He was a 1978 graduate of Carrollton High School, where he was active in the FFA program.
He attended Rosedale Technical College in Pittsburgh and spent several years working as a diesel mechanic, including the former Ray C. Call of Strasburg (now Western Branch Diesel) and operated Palmer's Garage from his home for several years.
Terry grew up on his family's dairy farms, as a youngster in Perrysville and then on his grandparents' farm in Kilgore. His love of the dairy industry drew him back to the family farm where he worked alongside his uncle, Elmer Palmer, and later took over management of the business with his sons, Chris and Ben.
