Johnathon A. "John" Frazee Obituary
Johnathon A. Frazee, Sr., age 70, of Sherrodsville, Ohio (Atwood Lake) died Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024 in the Ohio's Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia.
He was born April 6, 1954 in Dover, Ohio and was the son of the late Charles and Mamie (Dean) Frazee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Murphy.
John was retired from the Republic Steel Co. in Canton, Ohio where he had worked many years as a machinist. He was also the former Director of Atwood Ministries, a position that he held for 30 years. He was a faithful member of the Tabor Ridge Community Church. A talented vocalist who loved to sing, he served as choir director for many years and performed gospel and country music in nursing homes and other similar venues. He served as an EMT and Assistant Fire Chief for the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed his Atwood Lake home which gave him the opportunity to enjoy his pontoon boat
