Carol Jean Alsept Obituary
Carol Jean Alsept, age 77, of Bolivar, Ohio, died early Sunday morning, July 21, 2024 in the Hennis Care Center at Bolivar.
She was born September 2, 1946 in Uhrichsville, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Millhorn) Hooker.
Carol assisted her husband in the operation of several family businesses for most of her working years She was the family bookkeeper for the former Alsept Bit Service and the former Atwood Motors of Dover. She was a 1964 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. Also a homemaker, her deepest happiness came from caring for her family. Carol and her husband Dennis were fond of traveling together. An avid reader, she loved digging through genealogy and was able to trace her family back to the 1500's. She adored watching her grandchildren's antics and took so much joy from her family. Carol was funny and feisty and fiercely protective of those she loved. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who
