Alice F. Cowling, 84, of Scio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Minerva, Ohio.
Born on June 4, 1940 in Noble County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Olive (Landaker) Harper.
Throughout her life, Alice enjoyed crafting, sewing, reading, and watching westerns.
She is survived by two sons, Kenny (Ruth) Bowser, and Rick (Jeanette) Bowser; two daughters, Joanna Bowser and Cheryl L. Herndon; twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren; brother, William R. Cowling; and sister, Crystal Regula; along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband, John Cowling in 2011; son, Johnny Cowling; daughter, Cherie Griffith; grandson, Christopher Cowling; and two sisters, Irene Harper and Donna Mihalvich.
Per Alice's wishes, there will be no formal services and cremation has taken place.
