Virginia L. Maze, age 84, of rural Mineral City, Ohio, died Friday evening, March 21, 2025 in her daughter's New Cumberland area residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 26, 1940 in West Virginia and was the daughter of the late William and Oma (Looman) Mike. Her husband, Robert Darrell Maze, Sr, passed away in February of 1999. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Darrell Maze, Jr., a brother William Mike, and grandson Preston William Maze.
Virginia was primarily a homemaker who concentrated on her family for most of her life. She was a faithful member of the Lake Drive Fellowship Church in New Cumberland. For more than 30 years, she, along with her daughter Dottie, created crafts they offered at their booth at the Atwood Lake Area Fall Festival. She revered life and family, and throughout her life always maintained a sense of humor that she wasn't shy to share with friends, family, and strangers. Virginia was an excep
